What Is A Griffon?
A griffon is a creature with the front quaters of an eagle, the wings of an eagle and the rear quarters of a lion. It represents power, loyalty and magisty. It varies in size and it's closest relative is the hippogriff, with the head, wings and front legs of an eagle and the back legs of a horse.

What Do They Represent?
Griffons represent feirce loyalty, power and majesty. They are symbols for many Royal families and apear on coins in England. The griffon will guard it's gold and family to the end, and so it has become well known for this act of loyalty.
